Roles and Responsibility

• Handle overall checking and entry booking into Accounting System (ACCPAC) for:

- Non-Trade Account Payables (Invoices, Debit Notes, Credit Notes & Payments)

- Monthly Journal Entries (Prepayments, Accruals, Provisions, Depreciations, etc)

• Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations (Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Accounts Payables, Bank Reconciliations, etc)

• Perform and attend quarterly queries on the financial from Corporate Office

• Perform monthly Profit and Loss Review and upload the same on Peoplesoft

• Prepare monthly Financial Statements

• Liaise with Auditing Firm for Statutory Audit & Tax Agent for Corporate Tax Computations

• Prepare monthly Intercompany Invoices

• Ensure that the company complies with all regulatory requirements

• Supports business planning, budgeting, and forecasting on need basis

• Assists in other accounting work and special projects as needed from time to time

Desired candidate

• Proven knowledge of financial analysis and strategy

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation

• Analytical skills

• Attention to detail

• Interpersonal skills

• Negotiation skills

• Industry: Service (Preferable: BPO/ITEs, Insurance, staffing)

• Must have worked in Multi-location environment: Exposure to handling different profit centers, managing multiple P&L accounts.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Excellent MS excel knowledge

• Should be able to work under pressure with ownership

• Proficient in use of Accounting Software ACCPAC and experience in migration of accounting system definitely will be an added advantage.
